Gardner Village

We had another day of fun at Gardner Village with G& G, Bryn & Steph and their family. The girls went on their first pony rides. Reagan loved it and Ashlynn was not too thrilled about it. But they did enjoy petting the horses and making horse sounds.

Thanksgiving Point Fun

CORNBELLY'S - We had a lot of fun at Thanksgiving Point this month. We went to Cornbelly's with Amy and her kids. We had a lot of fun playing in the corn, going through the maze, and going on a train and wagon ride. I hope we get to do this again next year.

BARNYARD BOO - Last weekend we went to Barnyard Boo with G&G and Bryn and Stephanie and their kids. Miles and the girls loved the farm animals and running around. Most of the kids had fun on the pony rides too. It was fun to watch Brooklyn and Olivia play games and do a lot of fun activities.

Halloween Fun

We had our 1st Annual Halloween party with our family and friends. The kids had fun decorating cookies, bobbing for apples, playing games and carving pumpkins. It was fun to see the kids dressed up in their Halloween costumes. We hope this is a start of a tradition we can have with family and friends.

We Did It!

Before. . .

We actually survived!

I am so glad Alison talked me into doing a mini Triathlon with her. We had so much fun even though neither of us were properly trained for it. The training sessions we fit in the day before consisted of a 45 minute swim session where Alison coached me on my technique and a quick bike ride at 10:00 p.m. where Alison learned how to shift gears on a mountain bike. We didn't have much time to fit in any more training by the time the race started on Saturday morning. But the good news is that we both survived and had a lot of fun. Now we know what to expect and will consider training for the next one.

Bye, bye tail...

My Mom gave Reagan her first haircut. We had to say goodbye to her tail, it was getting too long. This has definitely been her signature trademark. It has been used by many people to tell our identical girls apart. It was really sad to see it go but when her haircut was finished, she still had a mini tail. So don't worry for those of you who can only tell them apart by Reagan's tail, it is still there.

My Little Helper

Regan used to be terrified of the vacuum. She has overcome that fear and insists on helping me. She loves to vacuum, wash her highchair, help change her sister's diaper, and help put the laundry in the dryer. Even though it may slow me down a bit, I love the help.

This is How We Sleep

The girls love to dangle their legs through the bars of their cribs. Usually when I put them down for a nap I hear laughing and playing around. I caught them a few times dangling their feet in between their cribs and kicking each others feet. They love playing and entertaining each other. I couldn't image life without them.

The lacey socks story. . .

I put a pair of lacey socks on Ashlynn for our morning run. The girls have a habit of pulling off their socks and tossing them out of the stoller while I'm running. If I am lucky I can make it out of the driveway before they tear them off. I usually try to pick out socks that I don't care about losing. On this particular day Ashlynn decided to keep her lacey socks on through her walk, lunch, nap and even when she was playing. I don't know why the ruffles didn't tempt her into pulling them off. I guess you can say she likes the lacey socks more then her Mom.
